Track 76: The kuria family

Summary: Originally from Kenya, Jane Kuria, a widow, and her three children, Isabella, Annabel, and Jeremy, came to the United States in the early 2000’s looking for a better life. Jane worked extremely hard to provide her children with a stable and comfortable upbringing in Atlanta, GA. But that would all change one summer night in 2007. It was supposed to be a fun filled day for her son Jeremy and his cousin Peter, who planned to spend the night. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. Instead her family and community, both in Atlanta and Kenya, are left wondering what really transpired on that fateful night of July 29, 2007. Would their efforts be enough to solve this case?

A photo of Jane Kuria, 45, and her daughters Isabella Kuria, 19, and Annabel Kuria, 16, and her son, Jeremy Kuria, 7. (Not pictured is Jane’s nephew, Peter Thande, 10, seriously injured and left unconscious). Both boys were the only survivors the vicious attack.
