Summary: On the morning of October 6, 2003, Mel Cotton, 30 year old single mom, was supposed to take her son to her sister’s house before work. When Mel failed to do so, her sister suspected something was wrong. But nothing could prepare her for what she saw once she arrived at Mel’s house. Mel’s family, friends, and community are left stunned and don’t know where to begin— that is until Mel’s friend, Christina, calls detectives. Could this be the key to finding out what really happened to Mel?
