TRACK 19: THE MURDER OF GEORGIA LEE MOSES (GEORGIA LEAH)
Summary: Although Georgia Lee Moses (Georgia Leah) was only 12 years old, she had the weight of adult responsibilities on her shoulders. By Spring of 1997, Georgia had dropped out of 6th grade and had been introduced to a lifestyle that no 12 year old could legally consent to. On or around August 13, 1997, Georgia was abducted, raped and murdered. Her naked body was discovered approximately 9 days later, on August 22nd, near Highway 101 and nearly 30 miles from where she was last seen. Georgia was not reported missing by any adults during that time period. In a strange twist of faith, it was her sister, Angel (7 at the time), that reported Georgia missing — also coincidentally on August 22nd after CPS/Cops/DA (?) visited her home for unrelated reasons. Though a sketch has made its rounds, suspects have never been publicly named. Her sister, Angel, believes that justice has no expiration date — and she is fighting to ensure that that statement rings true for her sister.
